Blount County Animal Rescue Effort (Blount CARE) is an all volunteer,
501c3 non-profit organization, founded in 2000,
which promotes animal welfare in Blount County, Tennessee.
Blount CARE's purpose is:
To educate the children in Blount County to make them more aware
of animal related issues so they hopefully grow up being more
responsible citizens.
To provide temporary housing for as many animals as possible
and linking them up with other rescue groups or people wanting to adopt.
To promote changes in Blount County to make it a more animal friendly
environment and improve the quality of life for animals awaiting adoption.
To promote the need for spaying and neutering pets by working with groups
who already provide this service.
